Creatine, which is present in our decaffeinated Pre-Workout blend, has not yet been fully evaluated for safe use during pregnancy. Some preliminary studies in animals indicate that it is not only safe, but beneficial to the fetus, to supplement with creatine during pregnancy.
However, more human research is still needed in order to determine appropriate guidelines for people who are pregnant. For this reason, we do not recommend supplementing with creatine containing products at this time. As far as Gainful products, you could either forego the Pre-Workout all together during pregnancy, or we can switch you to a caffeinated version. When using caffeine during pregnancy, it's generally recommended to limit to 200mg or less per day.
Remember to speak with your OBGYN/PCP prior to using any dietary supplement during pregnancy.
