This really depends on your schedule and preferences. You don't have to eat a certain number of times each day, since what is most important is your total daily intake over time. More or less, you can choose to split it up how you'd like.
However, most people do best with eating at least a few balanced meals per day. You can break it up further if you'd like, or add in some snacks between. It's okay to eat less frequently, but a lot of times, that can make it difficult to control hunger and food choices.
