Ketogenic diets may promote weight loss through restricting carbs heavily, which in turn promotes a calorie deficit. However, if you restrict carbs too heavily, you may be left feeling tired, lethargic, and having cravings. Carbohydrate foods also have essential nutrients that you may not get from other foods, such as fiber and certain vitamins and minerals.
At the end of the day, everyone is different. We prefer different things, and our bodies respond differently. Health & nutrition is not one-size-fits-all. Trial and error is sometimes the best method to see if you like a certain diet pattern or lifestyle.
