30-60 minutes after a workout is typically highlighted as the "window of opportunity". However, it's definitely not an all or nothing scenario. If you consume protein/protein powder more than an hour after your workout, it's still beneficial! We suggest you consume protein whenever you are best able to after a workout. There's no point in stressing if you can't have a protein source immediately after. However, of all the protein-dense foods you can have post-workout, protein powder is especially quick and easy.
