We may include complex (i.e. healthy) carbs in your personalized protein powder blend if it fits your goals. These include organic tapioca maltodextrin or organic oat powder – ingredients which aren't considered simple carbs (typically classified as sugars).
If you don't have any carbohydrate ingredients in your blend but are still seeing a few grams of carbs on your nutrition label, this can be attributed to the natural carbohydrate content in our protein ingredients. Even pure ingredients like whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, micellar casein, organic brown rice protein, organic pea protein, and organic cocoa powder contain some amount of carbohydrates, however small it may be.
A few grams of carbs are quite insignificant, and almost every food is going to have a fraction of carbs in them. Even boneless skinless grilled chicken breast will have a gram or two of carbohydrates.
However, if you're looking to reduce the number of carbohydrates in your blend, we can make blends with 1 gram or less of carbohydrates.
