No matter who you are, you will eventually run into a training plateau where you are no longer progressing in your workouts. Maybe you are having trouble add more weight to your sets, or you've noticed your body has not changed in a while.
Plateaus happens when our bodies become accustomed to the stresses of our workout, or to a certain calorie intake. The first thing you can do is make smart changes to your exercise program. Start by changing one or two small things at a time. After making these small changes, wait a week to see if anything changes overall with how you feel (both mentally and physically) and look. You can make these changes both in your diet and in the exercises you are doing. Continue to monitor the effect that these changes have on your overall progress in order to break through the plateau.
