Breakfast is a meal that a lot of people struggle to add protein to, because most foods that are high in protein aren't seen as "breakfast" type options. There are still a few great ways to add protein to your breakfast and start your day off right, though.
One easy and convenient thing to do is make a protein smoothie. Just add your protein powder along with water or milk, and include some extra tasty ingredients such as fruits, greens, nut butters, etc.
If you want to make a food based breakfast, add some healthy and high protein choices to it. Some ideas are turkey sausage or bacon, eggs or egg whites, Greek yogurt, and cottage cheese. Pair your protein with some fruits, veggies, or whole grains to make a complete, balanced, and simple meal.
