IBS and other gastrointestinal issues are pretty tricky, and must be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Someone with IBS might experience distress with a certain food item that another may find completely tolerable. Trial and error is the best method for ruling certain foods out.
For IBS, "diet at tolerated" is usually recommended. "Diet at tolerated" means that you should avoid foods that you know cause problems for you. If you can consume a food and be completely fine, then there is no reason to avoid it.
However, there are some common triggers. Many people with IBS have difficulty digesting whey, which may be in your blend. If you personally know you can't tolerate whey, then it should be avoided. In that case, we can switch you over to an 100% plant-based, organic vegan protein powder. If you can consume dairy products, then you will most likely be okay with whey.
Since IBS is a matter of individual tolerance, there really is no way for Gainful to guarantee that you will not have any issues with consuming your protein powder (or any supplement or food item, for that matter). However, what we can do is work with you to remove all ingredients that you can't tolerate – and we're always happy to do so.
